Fairness you don't have to take on faith. Crucible hands you the math — re-derive every match seed, audit the settlement ledger, and confirm the operator never takes the other side of your bet. Everything below runs in your browser.
The map, your side, the server — none of it was chosen.
Before a match starts we publish a SHA-256 commitment to a secret server seed. Afterwards we reveal the seed — and every match-critical pick is re-derived from it, in your browser. No operator discretion. Edit a single character below and watch the proof collapse.

sha256(serverSeed : clientSeed : matchId) deterministically fixes every pick. Same inputs → same result, every time.
The Glass Ledger
Every settlement is a link in a public, hash-chained log. The operator collects a flat rake and nothing else — its counterparty position is provably $0.00. Your browser does the math below; we never ask you to trust us.

Follow the money
Who is your counterparty?
Another player — never the operator. Follow the money through one diagram: stakes into neutral escrow, the pot to the winner, a thin rake to the operator. Ribbon thickness is the dollar amount.
Crucible · rake-only
The two players are each other’s counterparty. The operator only ever takes a thin rake off the pot — it never holds a position and is indifferent to who wins.
The model only works if we're honest. So we made honesty checkable.
Rake-only, server-verified, provably fair. The ladder is live and free — no deposit, no trapped funds, no house on the other side of your aim.
